چکیده

The main goal of the research was to increase knowledge on psychometric properties Prayer Importance Scale (PIS). study analyzed structure test items using item response theory (IRT), Mokken scale analysis (MSA), and confirmatory factor (CFA) establish factorial method. Measurement invariance (MI) calculated in groups differentiated by three criteria: religiosity, gender, age. MI verifies whether measure construct same way across different groups. Structure Level Religiosity Test (SLRT) used examine level religiosity participants. In a conducted with sample n = 566 adults (Mage 49.16 years; SDage 15.72), two religious were identified based median distribution: low (n 275) high 291) levels religiosity. Two men 284) women 282), equivalent per age period: early (age 25–39; 192), middle 40–59; 187), late adulthood 60+; 187). Results analyses show homogeneity comprising PIS, as well strict for distinguished criteria. provide extended about PIS ability compare results due

Measurement invariance of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS)by country, gender and age.

BACKGROUND Although the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) is the most widely used instrument to measure life satisfaction with its validation having been carried out across ages and countries, few studies have analyzed SWLS measurement cross-cultural invariance with adolescents. With respect to Spanish adolescents, measurement invariance across gender has not been found and the one-factor str...

Measurement Invariance of a Refined Values Scale

Several studies that measured basic human values across countries with the Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ-21) reported violations of measurement invariance. Such violations may hinder meaningful cross-cultural research on human values because value scores may not be comparable. Schwartz et al. (2012) proposed a refined value theory and a new instrument (PVQ-5X) to measure 19 more narrowly d...

Factor structure and measurement invariance of the Wisconsin Schizotypy scales across gender and age.

The Wisconsin Schizotypy Scales are among the most widely used instruments for the assessment of psychosis proneness. The main goal of the present work was to study the dimensional structure underlying the Revised Physical Anhedonia Scale (RPhA), the Revised Social Anhedonia Scale (RSAS), the Magical Ideation Scale (MIS) and the Perceptual Aberration Scale (PAS). It was also explored whether th...

Dimensional structure and measurement invariance of the youth self-report across gender and age.

PURPOSE The aim of the present work was to examine the correlated eight-syndrome model of the Youth Self-Report (YSR) proposed by Ivanova et al [1], using a confirmatory factor analysis for ordinal data. Likewise, we explored the measurement invariance of the YSR across gender and age using multigroup comparisons, and checked whether there were differences in the latent means. METHODS The sam...

Further Psychometric Evaluation of the Self-Stigma Scale-Short: Measurement Invariance across Mental Illness and Gender

BACKGROUND This study cross-validated the factor structure of the Self-Stigma Scale-Short (SSS-S) in a cohort of patients with mental illness in southern Taiwan. The measurement invariance of the SSS-S factor structure across mental illness and gender was also examined. METHODS The sample consisted of 161 patients with schizophrenia (51.6% males; mean age ± SD = 40.53 ± 10.38 years) and 189 p...
